I brought my 06' Volvo xc90 on sept 11 2017 for an alignment for the second time. Before I drove the truck I noted that the front wheels looked cambered out excessively. This was discussed with Dan and the technician involved. I was assured that the numbers where negative and my perception must be an optical illusion. October 10th I returned having traveled little over 200km my outer edge on both front tires are getting shredded. I agreed that the values on the paper say OK but that's not what is outside on the truck. Sitting on pavement off the machine is not right. If you put a level on the non bulged leading edge of the tire its a 1/4 outwards. Truck was put back on a different alignment rack and returned similar numbers. Its out of spec and I've been told nothing further can be adjusted. I put my winter tires on truck the next day and they are getting shredded. It also shrieks loudly with any type of sharp cornering or u turn. You can feek the tires fighting When I asked about replacing the tires no special consideration was offered other than standard sale prices. The truck is not new, it has a lot of mileage I know this. The alignment issue is not acceptable . The truck also drifts left harshly when applying brakes at highway speed. ( this was the original reason for bringing it in, it wasn't wearing its tires either ) I've just returned from a 1500 km road trip and lost even more outter tread. Is it a subframe bushing issue, bent component broken link, who knows ? In fairness Dan has been reasonable and accommodating but I am not happy with the multiple visits yielding same results. I been told to bring it elsewhere by a mechanic. In my gut I feel Fountain tire should make this right, tires and all.

Carol's winter tires were removed last spring and wrapped in storage bags. They were brought home and stored for the summer. This week, I dropped off the tires, still wrapped, as we were purchasing new Salen studded tires for her Mazda. The Dunlap winter tires were removed and the new tires were mounted onto the old rims. Carol picked up her vehicle and looked at the tires, then asked if we had purchased used tires. The rims looked so deteriorated that I myself wasn't sure that they were the original rims. Brittany later confirmed that they were. The winter tires had been removed and wrapped, still covered with sand, salt, and dirt. Apparently, this has caused the rims to look worn and rusted. I should have checked the tires in the Spring, removed them from the bags before storing, and visually inspected them before allowing the new tires to be mounted onto the old rims. Lesson learned. We have dealt with Fountain and Royal for years and this was the first disappointing experience we have had. John Bohdanec

The rep presented several options for winter tires and described which tires several of his co-workers were choosing. I work for a company that you provide a service for. I went in and to buy tires for my personal vehicial because I was told that I would get a discount. I got a price for the tires. At the same time Canadian tire had the same sale going on for the same tires. When I got a price it was the same as what I was given from you guys. When I ask nothing was done about it. I was alittle disappointed with that. I still bought the tires from you because I did want to deal with kids at the other store. But I am telling people about my story.

i picked up my tire and was going to drive home on my spare and install the tire once at home, Chris asked me if i wanted him to install it on my truck right away. Which he did I took my spare and put it in the box of my truck but Jessy said he could put it back in the spare tire location under my truck Great service save me a bit of work at home I forget the name of the front counter staff but she was very friendly and helpful Tkss dan

I serviced my truck by appointment and the service was well done. Although, I had an appointment, I waited nearly 7 hours for my truck to be ready. The wait time is a little ridiculous. The receptionist said 2-3 hours and would call when it was ready for pickup. After 6 hours, I called myself and asked if it was ready...

It took 1.5 hours to do a simple check of my front end alignment, when i was told to come in right away. Nothing was wrong with the alignment, but I was charged $45 dollars to do an inspection. when it is free everywhere else in Timmins. I will NOT be returning to Fountrain Tire againn.

You came in under priced for my rims and when shipping was extra when you received them you waved the shipping and you were honest with the tires I wanted told be that the ko2's were exclusive to Kal tire and that you couldn't match there price but still installed them on my rims after word. Also Shawn Dupere Timmins did a wonderful job installing and balancing my rims. As I'm very picky. Asked to have the writing and valve stem all line up the same on all tires and he did. Also he painted the wheel weights black do not to be noticed. Good quality work and did not scratch my rims. Good young kid. It's nice to see there are still some that put effort in there jobs.
