The program of Safety Excellence continues its pace at every location of Fountain Tire.   Alberta based locations established precedent in 2007 by achieving the Certificate of Recognition in this province.  The year 2008 saw Fountain Tire earn this recognition in British Columbia, and the company was the first in its industry to achieve this same prestigious status in Saskatchewan.  The Certificate of Recognition pursuit continues in 2009 in the province of Manitoba

The program of Safety Excellence is not simply the pursuit and achievement of certifications and awards: Fountain Tire's true objective is that each one of our Associates - and every customer and contractor- return to their homes in the same shape in which they arrived, whole and unbroken. The goal of Zero Safety incidents is a real and tangible thing that is deep-rooted at Fountain Tire and one that grows deeper each day.

With that objective in mind, Fountain Tire brings it to reality:

•  The company trains and drills its Associates in Safety from Day 1 of their employment with constant upgrades and ongoing training provided throughout their tenure
• Safety Communication Boards are intentionally placed in all store showrooms to educate and enlighten our Associates and customers about Fountain Tire's program of Safety Excellence
• Communication systems are available to everyone dealing with Fountain Tire to report their Safety issues: a toll-free Safety helpdesk (1-888-723-3457) is available to anyone with Safety concerns, Near Miss cards are available for use by anyone walking through our doors, and in writing to the Safety Helpdesk (safety@fountaintire.com), a response will be received within 24 hours.
